Houston, TX, March 3, 2017 – Trailhead Engineering announced today that it has executed a contract to provide Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services to a wholly-owned affiliate of Sendero Midstream Partners. Sendero intends to provide natural gas midstream infrastructure and related services to customers in the Delaware Basin through construction of natural gas gathering and processing facilities near the city of Carlsbad in Eddy County, New Mexico.
Trailhead Engineering will design and construct a highly-efficient 130MMSCF/Day cryogenic processing plant generating Y-grade natural gas liquids and dry pipeline quality natural gas. Working with licensing support from Ortloff Engineers, Trailhead will build a cryogenic turbo-expander plant that utilizes Ortloff’s Supplemental Rectification with Compression (SRC) technology. The plant, designed to be both robust and flexible, is capable of operating from full ethane rejection to ultra-high recovery modes, with C3+ recovery rates greater than industry standard in both modes of operation. Trailhead has partnered with DanCar Energy Construction Services to provide seamless execution of EPC contracts offering turn-key fabrication of a fully operational facility for Sendero Midstream.
“We are excited to bring our Delaware Basin experience to support Sendero on this key project in New Mexico. The competitive nature of this play demands that all technical and commercial facets of the projects be optimized. Once constructed, Sendero expects to have a system that combines efficiency with flexibility to produce reliable results,” said Brian Maddox, Chief Executive Officer of Trailhead Engineering.
